ALEJANDRA PEDERNERA

Alejandra's artistic production is "a constant exercise of reflection and thought about affections. The relationship with other bodies and with nature. The path, the inhabitation, the contact with what surrounds us is the question about affection. Each work is then shaped from one's own experience as a journey that transforms us physically, emotionally and mentally. Fragments, real or sectional, of
bodies, matter or nature make up new landscapes, new ways of inhabiting a space and an imagined temporality. Materiality and textile techniques occupy a fundamental place, the soft, the
everyday, the framework or the knots allow Alejandra to generate critical discourses about the feminine, the place of women, always enabling new questions."
